I’m Marie Drouvin. I make things on the internet. Things being essays, websites, tiny pieces of software, videos, and systems for organising my life and work. Occasionally, a recording of French poetry.

I’ve been putting things online for years. Most of my public work has been in French. I write Les Papiers, make videos, and run a small consulting practice for online creators at mariedrouvin.com. This site is where I write in English.

I’m very into vibe coding at the moment because it has made building accessible to me in a completely new way. I can make the oddly specific tools I want without needing them to make sense as products for anyone else.

AI feels important and fun to me.

I have spent a lot of my life studying other people, and trying to understand the systems around me. These days, I’m more interested in noticing what actually works for me, making hard things casual, and letting some of the weirdness out.

This website is a place where I write about the internet, AI, tools, creative practice, attention, art, independent work, and whatever else I cannot stop thinking about that week. The posts are often quick and a little messy.
